Eagerly awaiting the juicy details on BioShock 2? You’re going to be waiting until October at the earliest, as work is currently being concentrated on the BioShock PS3 port. When that’s finished and shipped out the door, 2K plans to lift the media gates on the highly anticipated follow-up (or prequel?), according to 2K Games international PR director Markus Wilding.

There’s not [an update on BioShock 2]. There will be, obviously, but it will take a while. We’re not talking about it just yet because right now it’s BioShock PS3 – that’s what everybody is concentrating on. Once we’re in full effect on BioShock 2 we’ll talk about it.
