Ah, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. It’s been a long road to completion, one fraught with numerous delays. The wait is almost over, as Blizzard assures that it is finally putting the finishing touches on its RTS opus. The PC-exclusive title will hit shelves in nearly every region under the sun on July 27.

Look for it to hit shelves in the United States, Canada, Europe, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Mexico, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and the regions of Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. As you can see, Blizzard isn’t kidding around when it comes to a global release.

A release on Blizzard’s Battle.net digital storefront will follow “shortly after the retail launch.”

“We’ve been looking forward to revisiting the StarCraft universe for many years, and we’re excited that the time for that is almost here,” said Mike Morhaime, Blizzard CEO and co-founder, on the announcement of this milestone.
