PSN Puzzle Shooter Shatter Steam Bound

Previously seen on PSN, Sidhe Interactive’s physics-powered take on Breakout  is making the jump to Steam. Shatter will debut on PC with a host of game modes including Endless Mode, Endless Co-op Multiplayer, Time Attack, and Time Attack Co-op Multiplayer. In addition, support for Steam achievements and leaderboards will be present. Sidhe says the extra modes are due for inclusion in the PSN original at a later date, presumably through DLC.

“Bringing Shatter to new audiences has always been our goal,” said Mario Wynands, Managing Director of Sidhe. “Following the warm reception we received for the PlayStation 3 version, taking Shatter to PC on the Steam platform was a natural next step.”

Winner of several awards, including “Best Downloadable” at GDAA 2009, the title employs an addictive spin on the age-old block busting genre, allowing players to suck and blow projectiles across a fixed playing field. While a firm release date was not given, Sidhe says Shatter is due out on Steam “within the coming weeks.” Expect it to pop up for pre-order soon.
