Ubisoft Makes Steam Debut With Far Cry, Splinter Cell

Valve today announced that Ubisoft has entered into an agreement to bring over 40 titles to the company’s Steam digital distribution service.

Available now on the service are fan-favorites Far Cry and Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell. In celebration of the announcement, both titles can be had for 10 percent off the original purchase price until April 8.

Ubisoft plans to bring upcoming titles to the service as well, not just oldies from its backcatalog. As of writing, gamers can pre-order the upcoming PC edition of Assassin’s Creed and download it directly from Steam when the the title hits day and date with the retail release on April 9.

More Ubisoft published titles are expected to hit the service soon, including additional entries from the Tom Clancy series, the Heroes of Might & Magic series, and the IL-2 Sturmovik collection.
