Transformers: The Game Deception Trailer

Activision has released a brand new action-packed trailer of Transformers: The Game, showing off some intense bot-on-bot fighting. I fondly remember playing with Transformer toys as a kid, so the fact that the franchise is coming back with an all-new motion picture and game is very exciting.
Based on the upcoming movie, Transformers: The Game is scheduled to hit store shelves on June 26th for PSP, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, and the PC.

As much as I want this game to rock, it's not going to. It will suffer the same curse as all movie-to-game games. It doesn't matter if the source material is even somewhat video game related, or hell, even BASED off of another video game (Look at Street Fighter: The Movie's video game. TERRIBLE, and it was BASED OFF OF ANOTHER GAME). I may be wrong, and I hope I am, that it hits the jackpot, but I'm not optimistic.
