Sales and marketing vet Scott Guthrie has taken leave of Red Faction publisher THQ in pursuit of another business opportunity, the company announced today.
“THQ has a deep and experienced global sales and marketing team and we continue to execute on our focused product strategy,” said Brian Farrell, THQ’s chairman, president and CEO. “We wish Scott well in his future endeavors.”
Guthrie joined THQ back in October 2006 and was promoted to executive VP in less than a year on the job. Prior to leaving, he had been responsible for overseeing the company’s sales, distribution, and marketing efforts across North America.
