Tecmo Shares Plummet Following Itagaki’s Leave

Shortly following the public announcement earlier this week that outspoken game director Tomonobu Itagaki would be leaving publisher Tecmo as of July 1 and suing the company, Tecmo’s share price has seen a significant drop. At market close on Tuesday, the publisher’s shares reportedly slumped from 1,102 yen to 982 yen — a reduction of ten percent. Ouch.
