Pixel Working On New RPG

Daisuke Amaya, art-name Pixel, creator of the much-acclaimed Cave Story, has started work on a brand-new RPG.

I’d always steered away from working on an RPG, but now that I think I’ve finally got the requisite know-how, I’ve decided to give it a shot. But already it’s more of a challenge than anything I’ve done before…

The developer himself posted this on his blog. Considering he made Cave Story, which is widely regarded as one of the greatest homebrew RPG/Platform games, I’m sure it’ll turn out great!

If you haven’t played it yet, be sure to check out the PSP port of Cave Story.

Freakin' awesome! I'm a huge fan of Cave Story- I wonder if it'll be freeware- hopefully. I also wonder if he'll have AGTP do the translation to this one, as in actually ask them.

I love Cave Story. I would have bought it if it was in a store as an official game
