Today Electronic Arts announced the development of its latest entry in the popular Need for Speed series. Need for Speed: ProStreet promises photo-realistic graphics and true to life physics. It will also expand on NFS Carbon’s “Autosculpt” technology, now allowing you to directly impact your car’s performance for the first time as well as personalize its appearance.
In addition to a aggressive and skilled AI system, ProStreet will feature an extensive online mode that sets to redefine “the meaning of competitive social play.” Look for ProStreet to hit nearly every console and handheld platform later this year. That includes the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PS2, PSP, Nintendo DS, PC, and mobile.
