At the premier for Sony Pictures’ upcoming crime drama 21, film producer Michael De Luca revealed that Kurt Wimmer of Equilibrium fame may have a hand in penning the script for a movie adaptation of Konami’s stealth action series Metal Gear Solid.

With the project being overseen by Kojima himself, nothing is set in stone yet, but Luca plans to initiate talks with Wimmer in the next few weeks now that the Hollywood writer’s strike is finally over.
