Mass Exodus At Gamespot Possible

In light of the whole debacle surrounding Gamespot and Jeff Gerstmann, one unnamed employee for the site has confided to Kotaku that the entire editorial staff is “devastated, gutted and demoralized” over the termination of longtime game critic Jeff Gerstmann.

The employee went on to say that unless greater transparency is given, it is possible that Gamespot could see “mass resignations.”

Gamespot did write up a farewell piece for Gerstmann yesterday. It denied reports of his exit being related in any way to advertiser pressure, but failed to provide any evidence that would clear up current rumors.
