LEGO MMO Gets Named

Today the LEGO group officially announced LEGO Universe as the official title for the upcoming massively multiplayer online game being developed by NetDevil.
LEGO Universe is expected to ship in the fourth quarter of 2008 and promises a rich, expansive world filled with social interaction and in-depth customization options. Players will be able to customize their mini-figs and interact in the universe as any character of their choosing.
No word yet on which gaming platforms LEGO Universe will be released on. However, it’s a given we’ll see it on PC. I think LEGO Universe could be a huge hit, but not sure if I am willing to pay yet another monthly fee for an MMO game. What about you?
