Konami announced today that it plans to release another chapter in the genre-founding Dance Dance Revolution series, this time exclusively for the Xbox 360. The re-imaged Dance Dance Revolution Universe 2 promises visuals that will surpass any other DDR game to date, complete with a mix of songs from the 70s to today, downloadable content, and online play.

Additionally, the game will include two new modes, Freestyle Mode and an enhanced Quest Mode. Choosing Freestyle Mode, players can dance any way they want without using the arrows. Konami says it’s perfect for “kids or anyone with two left feet.”

For those who can’t get enough DDR, Konami has also announced Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA 2 for the PS2. The game will feature support for both 4-player online multiplayer gameplay and the EyeToy USB Camera.

Oh, and don’t forget the previously announced Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party, which is slated to hit the Wii later this year.
