Iwata on ‘The End of Indifference to Games’

Back in 2003, Nintendo pres Iwata stated that it was Nintendo’s aim to expand the population of gamers. Nikkei BP’s TechOn now report that during the recent Nintendo press event, Iwata’s presentation was titled as the "Datsu Gemu Banare," or "The End of Indifference to Games." Figures thrown our reveal the DS is used by 3 users per household in contrast to 2 for other handhelds. Iwata admitted that the popularity of the DS by no means secures the Wii console.
