Invention: Triple-standard DVD

Warner are planning to make a three in one ‘triple standard’ disc, which will cleverly be readable in Blu-ray players, HD-DVD players and ordinary DVD players. Of course the format would cost to more to make, but it will mean less hassle for movie studios and retail outlets as the shelves won’t be awash with three sets of discs for just the one movie.
