Great news for fans of the Guilty Gear series, Aksys Games announced today that Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, the latest game in the popular fighting game franchise, will be hitting both the PS2 and Wii.

Guilty Gear XX Accent Core builds on the successful formula that made the originals a hit with three all-new gameplay systems to allow for additional defensive and offensive capabilities – Force Break, Throw Escape and Slash Back. Two reinvented fighters, namely A.B.A and Order-Sol, have been added to the playable roster of over 20 combatants.

The Wii version will feature exclusive waggle controls, allowing to you use the unique control capabilities of the Wii Remote to pull the fighters’ punches, kicks and special moves with simple gestures. For the purists out there, you’ll be delighted to know that Accent Core will support both the Nintendo GameCube and Classic Controllers.

Finally, new backgrounds, character voices, and an all-new introductory animation has been added to Accent Core.
