Sure, there’s a live-action Street Fighter movie on the horizon, due out next year, but that isn’t the end of Capcom’s plans in the show biz. Oh no. They want to emulate Marvel’s recent success by bringing more of its highly-acclaimed franchises over to the silver-screen. So says company president Haruhiro Tsujimoto in a Bloomberg interview:

We are in the process of working out contracts for several offers we received at the Cannes Film Festival last week and hope to make an announcement soon.

We want to do with games what Marvel did with comics.

No specific titles were mentioned in regards to Capcom’s future film offerings, although Devil May Cry and Dino Crisis both seem likely candidates for such a move.
