Blizzard Entertainment today updated its employment opportunities page with two listings seeking a “Lead 3D Character Artist” and “Lead 3D Environment Artist” for an unnamed MMO project.

One fan immediately got wind of the listing and shortly thereafter, posted about it over at the company’s official forums. Blizzard community representative Drysc replied to the thread, confirming that a new MMO is in development, and it’s not another expansion to World of Warcraft.

No, it is an unannounced Next-Gen MMO.

And that doesn’t mean an expansion for World of Warcraft either.

What do you think it is? It’s most definitely not another Warcraft MMO, and probably has nothing to do with Starcraft either, considering that Starcraft II was announced just a few months ago. A Diablo MMO perhaps?
