Pre-orders for 2K’s highly-anticipated BioShock 2 have opened up on the Steam today, joined by the sweet deal of receiving the original with any pre-purchase. Already have the original? Then you’ll be able to gift that extra copy to a friend. What’s more, is that during the pre-order period, BioShock 2 by itself will be priced at $44.99 — 10% off the full MSRP, saving you $5 bucks. Not a whole lot, but it’s still something.

Alternatively, those with enough friends interested in picking up the sequel can opt for a 4-pack, an increasingly popular promotion that Valve kicked off with Left 4 Dead. Priced at $134.97, it totals out to around $33.74 per person. Not a bad deal at all if you have pals willing to chip in.

BioShock 2 is slated to hit PC on February 9, same date the pre-order incentives wrap up.
