Bethesda: Further Oblivion expansions not planned

Speaking in a recent interview, Bethesda’s Todd Howard revealed that the recently released Shivering Isles expansion for Oblivion may well mark the end of further Oblivion expansions. He says that he’d be surprised if they start working on another expansion, as the original team has gone to work on revitalizing classic RPG series Fallout.

Farming the expansion work out to another studio seems to be out of the question. When asked about the possibility, Howard explained that the team has great experience with the franchise and it just wouldn’t feel right having someone else develop content.
