Rumors are circulating that Nintendo is planning to release a new DS model equipped with a bigger screen for improved text readability. The news comes from Japanese magazine Gamelabo, who claim that development has been underway for a few months. Might this be another surprise Nintendo has up its sleeve for E3?

One would presume that this new DS model would be targeted at the elderly. There’s no doubt that a bigger screen would be a hit among the old folks. From the Game Boy to the DS, they’ve always complained about the screen size!
