Resident Evil 2 GBA Tech Demo

Recently posted to YouTube was footage from a Resident Evil 2 tech demo for the good ol’ GBA. Graphics look almost on-par with current gen DS titles. It’s too bad that this demo never evolved into a complete game, but I guess you have to consider the cart size limitations at the time. Packing all those RE2 character models and voices onto one GBA cart would’ve been costly.

i know its on gba but it doesnt seem the same there..it seems painfully slow compared to the original....i reckon the running looked only about 85% speed or so....i can imagine it slowing down with a few more models...also the gba's screen resolution is just too small....


although saying that it is amazing to see it runing on gba hardware....a DS port ala resident evil ds wouldn't go amiss :P
