Pokemon Heart Gold, Soul Silver Hits Japan September 12

Nintendo announced today that Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver will hit Japan on September 12.
Sporting redone visuals and WiFi connectivity, both titles are remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver, which debuted on the Game Boy Color back in 1999. As any launch of a Pokemon title is classified as a big deal in Japan, it’s safe to say we’ll see these two sell by the bucketload. And that’s putting it lightly.
A North American release date has yet to be announced. Assuming Nintendo sticks to its usual timeline, it’d be reasonable to expect both titles to arrive stateside early next year.
