The next dual-screen entry in the Zelda series has been dated. Nintendo announced today that The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass will be launching on October 1, complete with crisp 3-D cartoon graphics and multiplayer battles over Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, marks the debut of the franchise on Nintendo DS.
In other news, there was a small footnote near the end of the press release, stating that Metroid Prime 3 is scheduled to hit August 27. Previously it was dated for August 20. Though thankfully it is only a one week delay… I’m sure we can all live with that.

Cool stuff, can't wait, but I've heard that Phantom Hourglass will be completely stylus-controlled. Anyone know if that's true? Because that's be disappointing, to be honest- I find the stylus, in most games is more of a hindrance than an awesome feature. If so, hopin' there's an option.
