Ever since the remakes of Dragon Quest IV, V, and VI for DS were announced, we’ve been anxiously awaiting new details. Well, new scans from a Japanese magazine have surfaced, revealing that Dragon Quest IV DS will fully utilize both DS screens.

How exactly? The game’s world map is extended across both screens, similar to Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time and Contra 4 DS. Battles also make use of both screens, displaying character portraits on the top and enemies on the bottom screen.
