Ever since the release of Mother 3 for GBA in Japan (otherwise known as Earthbound in the US) fans have been dying for an English translation of the game.

A recent interview with no other than Nintendo’s Reggie reveals that there is a possibility for a US release after all when talking to MTV about Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata, "It certainly is a franchise near and dear to his heart, and it’s something I’m trying to get smart on to understand whether or not there is an opportunity here."
