A year hasn’t passed since the release of SRPG Luminous Arc for DS and developer Image Epoch is already is already hard at work on a sequel, Marvelous Entertainment announced today.

The sequel promises more varied battle sequences and this time around each character can equip up to three Lapis Arts. We’ll also assume that the sequel will retain the unique and highly praised art style from the previous game.

Luminous Arc 2 is due for an end of 2007 release in Japan.
