Today XIDER Games released some new details on its upcoming Nintendo DS game, Luminator DS.

The title probably reminds you of the PSP puzzle game Lumines, and well, Luminator DS is also strikingly similar in the gameplay aspect. Players aim to turn their building blocks into valuable points by performing "construction combos."

Luminator DS plans to offer players a constantly evolving challenge with two difficulty levels in "normal mode" and three in "puzzle mode", plus 15 different soundtracks to add tension and enhance enjoyment.

Luminator DS is due out Q3 2007 in Europe. A US release date has yet to be announced.
