Homebrew developer Darkchild has released an update to iFile, a lightweight file manager for the Nintendo DS. In addition to the usual bug fixes, version 0.15 features preliminary folder creation support and support for multi-extension files. The complete changelog is detailed below.

* Fixed the typo (Folrder) (thanks to Josiah for telling me about this)
* Canceling renaming was broken, now fixed (Thanks to Gh0st for telling me this)
* Raised the number of files permitted to show to 600 (Hope that’s enough)
* Added check for deleting folders( if something goes wrong he’ll warn you!)
* Fixed a bug that occurred when entering the first folder in the card’s root!
* iFile now says happy birthday (When the right time comes of course)
* Source now under GPL License v3
* Can now create folders! (may be buggy)
* By Pressing “A” when keyboard on screen, it’s the same as pressing enter
* Added check for successfull folder creation
* Now supports multi extension files (ie: this.file.is.a.jpg is now identified as an image)
* Fixed an extension bug (case is now ignored when checking file extensions)

Thanks for the fast update... take a break ;)

No major flaw so far my devious folder is now managed

- Sometimes creation of a subfolder fails and leave a garbage text for the next instance in the input field for "new folder's name"

- background minor corruption when the keyboard is in front ( esthetic bug )

- Overflow text in input create strange effects and sometimes errors ( the input field is prefilled with garbage, screen garbage , operation announced as success but not seen, error -1 Items ... )

- Wrong name when input name started with one or more "space" caracters

Update : After check very long name folder created are not seen under iFile but appears under DSOrganise ( and freeze with a erd guru meditation when going back to upper folder ). Deletation of upper folder is then problematic ( but possible at least with DSO or another editor )

No microcards were hurt :-)
