Nintendo has opened up the official Japanese site for Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Darkness Exploration Battalion and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Time Exploration Battalion. Unlike the previous Mystery Dungeon release which was split across the GBA and DS, this time both versions will be released only for the Nintendo DS.

Mystery Dungeon 2 strays away from the typical Pokemon gameplay formula, and puts players in the role of an actual Pokemon. In an world populated only by Pokemon, you will find yourself hunting down treasure and helping fellow Pokemon.

As in the recently released Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, WiFi Connection support is planned for both versions. Expect the duo to ship sometime this year in Japan.
