Late last week, Hirokazu Hamamura, president of Famitsu publisher Enterbrain, revealed his belief that a new Nintendo DS model may be shown at this year’s upcoming E3 Media Summit in a Bloomberg Japan report.
Despite this, Hamamura proclaims that he never made such a statement, blaming a misinterpretation of words for the widely spread rumor, according to trade publication MCV.
What a mess. Guess this means we won’t see a new DS model unveiled at E3 though. Then again, you never know with Nintendo, as they squashed similar rumors right before the DS Lite was announced.
