DS on track to be the best-selling gaming platform ever

While the PS2’s record of over 115 million in worldwide sales is impressive, analysts at DFC Intelligence believe that the Nintendo DS is on track to break that record. The firm predicts that the portable gaming market will exceed $10 billion in worldwide revenue this year, led by the DS. By 2011, they also expect the portable market as a whole to outsell the top 3 next-gen consoles.
