During a recent interview, Camelot co-fonder Hiroyuki Takahashi was asked about the future of its acclaimed Golden Sun RPG series, which originally appeared on the Game Boy Advance. Takahashi said Camelot feels that they have to make another Golden Sun, no matter what. Nintendo even asked them.
Hiroyuki Takahashi: First of all, I love that game and I love the world of Golden Sun. We think we have to make another one. We have to do it! Not just that we have to do it, but we want to do it. Nintendo has asked us to please make it. But at the same time we haven’t gotten around to making it. We’re not really sure why. (laughs)
Further to this, due to the overwhelming amount of requests from fans, Takahashi said he would also like to once again delve into the Shining Force series, possibly create Shining Force III.
