Ubi has been more or less silent on the DS version of Assassin’s Creed. Heck, we initially received confirmation of the game’s existence when Nintendo sent out an updated holiday release schedule, with Assassin’s Creed DS listed.

Thanks to a leak of the actual boxart, we now have some concrete details on the title. The boxart reveals that the DS release will be a prequel to the console version, and feature a fully rendered 3D world. In addition, the full title of the game is actually Assassin’s Creed: Altair’s Chronicles.
