Publisher THQ today announced that it will release Age of Empires: Mythologies on the Nintendo DS this summer, an all-new entry in the popular real-time strategy series.

Said to feature three playable civilizations in all — Egyptians, Greeks and the Norse — Mythologies is being developed from the ground-up with the DS in mind. THQ is promising an “immersive multiplayer experience,” coupled with single-cart game sharing and a new skirmish mode.
