Microsoft Unveils 512MB Memory Card for Xbox 360

Up till now, file sizes for Xbox Live Arcade titles have never exceeded 50MB. It’s all about to change with the arrival of games like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.

Of course, this poses a problem for Core units which come with a 64MB memory card and no hard drive. But Microsoft hasn’t forgotten them, due out this March is a 512MB memory card which is expected to retail at $49.99.

Team C+D have modified psardumper to support 3.10 decryption. Yes, that means a 3.10 OE release is definitely possible now

UPDATE: This release also works with the 3.11 firmware update, Sony did not change the keys.

New Titles Approach the Xbox Live Arcade Horizon

This February, 10 highly anticipated titles will begin making their way to the Xbox Live Arcade. These titles include Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Paperboy, and Worms.

Its great to see classics such as SOTN making their way to the XBL Arcade, let’s hope the flow of quality titles continues.

Firmware 3.10 for PSP Released

The "real" 3.10 update is now up on Sony’s site, a list of features will be posted soon. Meanwhile, you can grab it at the link below.

WebX v1 for PSP Released

Team TOC have released a neat hack that allows you to modify the list of the directories when saving a file to your PSP through the internet browser.

Please note that the author warns that is recommended to install on 3.03 OE only.

Splinter Cell Double Agent for PS3 Features Revealed

A recent press release has revealed some interesting and unique features in the PS3 version of Double Agent.

First off, the PS3 controller’s SIXAXIS feature is used for operating door gadgets or for Sam’s special moves like swimming or paragliding. In multiplayer mode the player can control drones with the tilt function.

The game will also feature extra multiplayer maps and an online mode that will be equal to the experience you’d get on Xbox Live.

Homebrew Enabler for 3.03 Released

Noobz just brought us the 3.03 downgrader, but they’ve also released a port of Dark_AleX’s HEN (Homebrew ENabler) for the 3.03 firmware in case you don’t feel comfortable with downgrading or just want to stay on 3.03.

You will still need the unpatched GTA: LCS UMD to run HEN on 3.03, refer to the README contained in this archive or if you have any questions or feel free to ask for help in our forums.

Downgrader for 3.03 Released

PSP homebrew has had a great month, the ability to play all PS1 games on PSP, 3.03 OE-C with full resolution MP4-AVC support, a user-mode and kernel-mode exploit working on 2.81-3.03, and now it’s just gotten better with a downgrader by Noobz for the latest firmware 3.03!

Now ALL PSP owners out there can downgrade their PSP with the help of the unpatched GTA: LCS UMD and enjoy the world of homebrew no matter what the firmware version.

Sony Queues Up for the Wii

An image of some Sony employees lining up for the Wii is making its rounds on the net. I’m sure they just wanted to test out the console, but its funny nonetheless
