Japanese gaming magazine Shonen Jump has confirmed the existence of the Final Fantasy IV DS remake. As previously rumored, the game will be in full 3D ala FFIII DS. Check out the new scan below for the first screenshots.

hmm....well,if its like FF3 then i would play through it to see what its like.... :)
yeah, I can't wait. FFIV is one of my favorite games in the series. course, FFVI was better gameplay wise, but to me both are on the same level story wise. so it should be great since they are remaking it with the FFIII DS engine.

dang it. so this means i have to buy a DS to play this.
how i wish they would release a version on PSP as well.
it would be great to play that remake of final 2 or 4, depending the region.
i was a Final Fantasy Master. finished them all.. from gameboy to snes,
to nes, to ps1 and ps2, of course with the exception of final xi, didn't like the
idea of an online game. i'd love to see what new things they did for the remake of
