Causal games developer PopCap announced today that it has inked a deal with Sony Online Entertainment to bring five classic arcade titles to PlayStation Network.

Priced at $9.99, the gem-swapping hit Bejeweled 2 is slated to appear on the North American PSN today, with a European release set to follow. The game features updated 1080p visuals, in addition to trophy support and the ability to link-up with a PSP system to take advantage of cross-platform Remote Play.

Other fan favorites such as Zuma, Heavy Weapon, Peggle, and Feeding Frenzy will appear on the service at a later date.
