US PlayStation Store gets PS3-Playable PSone titles

Finally! Remember that PS3 firmware 1.70 update last month which brought support for PlayStation Store PSone downloads? Good news, the games are finally here. Close to a dozen PSone classics are now available at the online store for $5.99 each, including: 2Xtreme, Crash Bandicoot, Destruction Derby, Jet Moto, Jumping Flash, MediEvil, Rally Cross, Syphon Filter, Tekken 2 and WipeOut. Users who have already purchased the games for PSP will be able to download the PS3 versions at no extra cost.
Now that Sony has both the PS3 and PSP fused up with PSone power, let’s hope some more games head our way soon.
