In conjunction with modding site ModDB, Ubisoft has kicked off a promotion inviting fans and newcomers alike to design a multiplayer level for open-world shooter Far Cry 2. Up for grabs are three fully decked out Alienware PCs valued at $2000 each, along with select titles from Ubisoft’s holiday 2008 lineup, such as the recently released Prince of Persia.

In addition to being judged by members of Ubi’s development team in terms of aesthetics and overall fun factor, levels will be chosen under three main categories, including “What the …!?” for most original experience, “Nostalgia,” and “Real World Landmarks.” If you have what it takes, head on over to ModDB for complete contest rules and guidelines. The due date for all creations is January 12.
