PlayStation Home Is Live

by Mike Bendel on December 11, 2008 @ 3:19 pm

The day legions of PlayStation 3 owners have been waiting for is finally here. Yes, Home is now officially open to the masses. Boot up your PS3 and you should see an icon for the service inside the PlayStation Network section of the XMB. From there you will simply be prompted to download and install the software itself — which is quite small, 77MB or so. Enjoy and let us know your thoughts on Sony’s first major foray in the social networking space in the comments section below.

Would probably be cooler if I felt comfortable enough to use my blue tooth in front of my roommates to chat. But I try to pretend I'm not a nerd.

Okay after playing for a while, this is what I think Home needs:

1. More bowling lanes!!!!!!!!!!!

2. More free stuff (I'd be happy to be a walking advertisement in exchange for not being blue shirt green cargo pants guy #240491). Also, my house is dreary. Maybe a Mountain Dew sofa would help.

3. Better movie theater viewing angles.

Obviously, it would be nice if game creating worked, looking forward to that. Wish I had friends with a ps3...
