Starting this weekend on December 12, Rockstar is kicking off yet another Social Club weekend, and this time, a multitude of prizes will be up for grabs. Midnight Club Los Angeles players on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 can register for the first-ever Rockstar-sponsored tournament anytime on Friday or Saturday. The tournament runs all day on Sunday December 14. In order to be eligible for a $300 shopping spree at Rockstar Warehouse and Midnight Club Los Angeles prize pack, players must race any car designated at a “C” car class on the “Ocean to LA River” track. Race as long as you’d like, as the prize will go to the player with best recorded time.

That’s not the only Social Club event happening this week, though. Rockstar also is holding a contest for those who purchased the recently released PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV. Create a video using the built-in suite of editing tools and upload your clip with the following tag: best-in-class-contest. A $300 shopping spree at the company’s online Rockstar Warehouse shop will be awarded to the creator of the winning video clip, which will be judged in terms of overall creativity and editing skills.

Last but not least, Rockstar is giving fans the chance to go head to head with other Rockstar developers this weekend in GTA IV and Midnight Club. A list of PSN IDs and XBL Gamertags can be found over at the official Social Club site. Additionally, those who participate in any of the aforementioned events this weekend will automatically be entered in a drawing to win one of 24 Rockstar prize packs.
