Yamauchi Assures That Gran Turismo PSP Is Still Moving Forward, Still No Release Window
by Mike Bendel on November 24, 2008 @ 11:29 am

Last May, Polyphony Digital director Kazunori Yamauchi mentioned that work on Gran Turismo: Mobile for PSP was still underway, pointing towards a 2009 release. It’s late November now and the dawn of a new year is inching closer and closer, yet no new details on the mobile edition of Gran Turismo have been released. Not even a screenshot. What is the status? In a recent interview with IGN on all things GT related, Yamauchi says development is still “moving forward.”
I can only answer the same for [Gran Turismo: Mobile] as well, but it is moving forward. It hasn’t been knocked off the plans: it’s there.
This is almost becoming ridiculous. My gut feeling is that we likely won’t see it in 2009 either, or at least not until Gran Turismo 5 is finished.
