SCEE Sends Over 100K Home Invites

by Mike Bendel on November 21, 2008 @ 10:15 am

The infrastructure of Sony’s online virtual community Home is about to be given its first real test, as SCEE community team manager “TedTheDog” announced today that “over a hundred thousand invitations” to the ongoing beta have been sent across European territories. More invites will be sent out next week on the November 27 as well. For those who did not see an invite pop up in their mailbox, don’t fret, as the publicly accessible open beta is said to be right around the corner.

There’s no word on if SCEA will also be sending out invites by the metric ton here in North America, but we should find out soon.

Oh crap, Sony wont be sending invites to portuguese users, for some lame reason.

BUT this version of HOME is shareable. If you download HOME using someone else's account, you'll be able to use it with your own account. So if anyone is feeling generous enough, PM me, ok? :p
