PS3 Keypad Attachment Set For December

by Mike Bendel on November 14, 2008 @ 7:27 pm

Sony Computer Entertainment America sales VP Ian Jackson dropped word at today’s BMO Capital Markets Interactive Entertainment Conference that the first-party keypad attachment for PS3 controllers will hit retail shelves in December. Unveiled earlier this year, the rechargeable device clips onto the top of a PS3 pad, sporting a standard but albeit tiny QWERTY layout.

Pricing has not yet been officially announced, however, Amazon is currently listing a $50 price point for the peripheral. A bit steep, no?

isn't this exactly like the 360's "messenger add on" for their controllers? lol by how it "fits snugly" on the Controller.
