Assuming demand does not spike significantly, you should have less of a difficult time finding a Wii this holiday season, as Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime recently dropped word that production has been bumped up to 2.4 million units per month.

Nintendo has continually raised the production levels of the Wii hardware. We’re now producing 2.4 million units a month worldwide.

By contrast, Nintendo was shifting 1.6 million Wii units in the retail channel last year. That’s a 33 percent increase overall in terms of monthly figures.
