Sony Ups PSP Sales Targets

by Mike Bendel on October 23, 2008 @ 12:40 pm

Late last May, Sony set its fiscal 2008 worldwide sales target for PSP hardware at 15 million. In light of increased momentum in Japan, the company has since revised that forecast. Sony is now projecting an upwards of 16 million in total unit sales for the duration of this year’s fiscal period, which ends in March 2009.

With an influx of quality titles on the horizon, such as Loco Roco 2 and Resistance Retribution, this may very well be a goal that the PSP can reach.
