Publisher Ubisoft today sent word that Prince of Persia Classic, a faithful remake of Jordan Mechner’s 1989 original, will hit the PlayStation Network this coming Thursday — October 23.
Already available on XBLA, the Gameloft-developed remake retains all of the redeeming qualities from the original, in addition to boasting enhanced 3D-style visuals and revamped character animations for a new audience. To freshen up the gameplay experience for those familiar with the original, new traps, puzzles and enemies have been added as well.
