Capcom Themed PSN Store Launching In November

by Mike Bendel on October 17, 2008 @ 5:08 pm

Speaking in a recent interview with Edge Online, Capcom product manager John Diamonon revealed that a Capcom themed PSN store will open up in November. The store will sport the same basic layout as Sony’s, but with Capcom-specific assets and titles.

Out of all of the third-party companies making use of the digital space, [Sony] recognizes Capcom is one of the best partners for content.

Diamonon further noted that Sony plans to roll out similar storefronts for other leading publishers in the digital field later this year, but did not specifically mention which companies. Sounds like a win-win situation to us. Not only will publishers receive more visibility but consumers will have an easier time browsing around for content.
