Itagaki says Ninja Gaiden DS will surprise us

by Mike Bendel on April 11, 2007 @ 4:40 pm

In a recent interview with CVG, Team Ninja big boss Tomonobu Itagaki smacked down the details on Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword for the Nintendo DS. He says that the controls are so incredibly innovative that we will have no choice but to actually watch someone playing the game to understand how wonderful it is. Wow, talk about starting hype.

As was revealed earlier, Ninja Gaiden DS will feature a unique control scheme requiring you to hold the DS vertically and perform all character actions and movements with the stylus. Of course this would make things hard for those who are left-handed, but Itagaki assured that there would be an option to flip the screen display.
